These Automated Processors are designed and engineered by Biodiesel Logic Inc., specifically for small to medium biodiesel producers desiring to make 100-6000 gallons a week per processor. They are manufactured in the United States to the highest industrial standards with the duty cycle to operate 24/7 and last a lifetime. In addition to being robust, they are capable the single stage base, base/base, or the acid/base methods of making biodiesel, giving them the flexibility to process almost any organic oil. The PLC controls provide for semi-automation, reducing human interaction to only a few points in the processing. A single batch takes 14-16 hours starting with wet unfiltered oil. With the addition of a Dewatering and Preheat Tank the plant will produce one batch every 6-8 hours using the single stage base method.

The automation for single stage base method requires human intervention to

  1. load the oil into the processor
  2. titrate the oil and load the methoxide tank
  3. pump off the glycerin and start the drywash
  4. pump off the finished biodiesel
