How much you can make in each batch depends on the size of the water heater you choose.  They typical 40 gallon water heater can make about 25 gallons per batch. How long does it take? How long it takes depends on your processing methods.  The method we show you takes about a day of collecting and processing and about 15 minutes a day to make a batch of biodiesel in 3 to 5 days.  There are methods described on the internet for making biodiesel from 5 hours to six months.
